ABCShannon's Take: Loved when I heard the premise, but the pairing the supernatural with 'delivering desires' could be too sleazy for me. Will have to see more.

Updated Description: "After 15 years of darkness, an unlikely group sets out to save the world."
Genre: Originally we had this as paranormal, but now it looks a survivalist drama

Shannon's Updated Take: Although when we first chatted about this there wasn't quite enough info on it (and I mis-interpreted the description that there wouldn't be like any corporal forms of energy...lol...), but but the Kripke/Abrams connection makes it one to check out without a doubt. Plus I adore Billy Burke.
FantasyBeauty and the Beast (CW) Original Description: "Loosely based on the 1980s CBS series starring Linda Hamilton, Beauty And The Beast is a modern-day romantic love story with a procedural twist."
Updated Description: "Detective Catherine Chandler is a smart, no-nonsense homicide detective. When she was a teenager, Catherine witnessed the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen. The CWShannon's take: Holy noodle the teaser trailer above looks a lot like Teen Wolf! Out of the two Beauty and the Beasts in the running for the fall this one I was less interested in as it's procedural-centric and add to the would that it's in the Secret Circle timeslot. Jeepers. I'll likely give it a chance, but I'm don't think it's quite for me. And we'll have to see what Canadian channel it pops up on as we don't get The CW.

ABCShannon's Take: I'm a sucker for isolation dramas (Lost, BSG, Star Trek Voyager) and I like the cast so I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to give this a chance! It's on at the same time as Vampire Diaries though, so I don't think I'm their target market.

Many of the shows
we originally mentioned back in February didn't actually make it further, but the only on I've heard of so far that may do so is The Selection (the "an epic romance set 300 years in the future which centers on a poor young woman who is chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to become the next queen of a war-torn nation at a crossroads."); which is currently in
development.
That's what I've culled out as from the announcements from the major US networks line ups from last week. If you want to see
